Ok .. good afternoon citizens of Daniel-ville.. hmm .. i'm gonna talk about a topic today .. well.. was surfing ard the net.. around the forums .. and hey! i found an article related to deja vu.. well .. most of us would have experienced deja vu before.. Well.. its basically like .. u dream or have a vision about this place.. and then weeks or months later .. you see the same thing .. this time in REAL LIFE!

OK.. here's a true story!
by yours truly:
I seriously forgot when i had the dream, or vision.
Band members who went to japan last year?
yea .. u guys remember when we went to the chinese restaurant?

yea ... dat one..
ok .. well.. when we finished ..we got up the bus rite?
aha ..
and then i took my seat .. well cos i was sitting alone T.T (no seat partner that day)
ok .. then when i turned to look out of the window ..
and yes!
there was it!
that same scene..
where i was in the bus .. looking across the aisle .. out of the window..
and at the chinese restaurant .
in JAPAN...
then i thought ..
"ahh.. maybe its cos i've been here before.."
but then agn ..
i only have been to japan once..
and sure as hell did not try any chinese food in japan whr we can have aPLENTY in s'pore.
so yea..

I'm going to break this topic into multiple segments. Because this is a wide topic
1) General
2) Demonic empowered gifts
3) Godly empowered gifts (also known as gifts of the Holy Spirit)

Abit of background on myself. I received Christ in year 2001. Before that I was very interested in things of the spiritual. So before I received Christ I encountered and experimented things of demonic nature, after that, of Godly nature. Used to read alot on ghost stories to cover more grounds, gain facts, what is and what isn't. After I receive Christ, more of these spiritual stuff came more clear to me because there's a bible to study on.
My most sincere warning to those reading this: Don't venture or risk yourself by experimenting or playing around with things of demonic nature. Some damage done to yourself/others is irreversible. In some cases. even if you say the sinners prayer.

Before we go on, first we need to get our foundation right. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to enforce christianity here. I'm giving you working facts. If this offends you, then I suggest you stop reading, it is only for the curious. Anwyay here goes...
If you want to know the true intention of a creation, say sony mp3 player, who do you look for? the creator, sony right? Same goes for humans, we trace back our creator, God Himself. There's one verse in the bible that says we must love God with all our heart, all our soul and all our might.
From there, we can find out the 3 areas of human areas that must be filled one way or another:
All our heart - Emotion
All our soul - Spiritual
All our might - Physical Strength
we fill these kinds of needs in various ways- praying, drugs, urge 4 a merge, relationships, computer games, partying...just to name a few. Let's zoom in straight into our topic - All our soul, Spiritual

Since this is the area of our soul, Spiritual needs can never be met by drugs, partying, sleeping, being busy at work. You'll know you are spiritual hungry when you desire to know things that are not natural in nature. Like ghosts, forces, magic, power, etc.
Strangely, computer games/music of mystic nature will fill these needs somehow. Computer games that cover areas like spells, magic, socery. Some games include diablo, neverwinter nights. once again i emphasize, playing games is nothing wrong! Don't go to the extreme and get addicted! Some people misread this and took it as we should ban computer games!

The most common way to fill this need is reading and hearing of ghost stories. WHen I say ghost stories, it can be by word of mouth, movies, books. My next sentence is based on a true fact: Most, I say MOST healthy christians, don't have the desire to read/listen to ghost stories because their spiritual needs are filled already. That includes those who play computer games of mystic nature, but usually, these people will study the game manual/guide books, to understand the in-depth stuff. For example how their magic work, where is the source, where do these creatures comes from...
Computer games of mystic nature usually has a higher chance of addiction because of this reason! Because they touch the need and desire to know spiritual things! Compare world of warcraft and solitare. I personally never really see people getting addicted to solitare. Even so, maybe only a few.
Sometimes people also get addicted to computer games, because the desire for power. I used to be nerdy, I could never make it big in life. That's why I resort to computer games, where I could easily gain power. This apply to most, but not all. Some people lost attention pretty quickly at computer games, but these are usually cases where they are successful people already.

So I already cover things that meet the desire/need for spiritual things: prayer, computer games and ghost stories. Next is more of a continuous and sometimes extreme desire to fill this need/desire.
People who desires to cultivate and continously meet this desire for spiritual things will go 2 ways:
Church, christian prayer - Godly in nature
Reading & practicing witchcraft, dedication to gods/demons, satanic prayer - demonic in nature.

---Demonic empowered gifts---
Ok let's make clear some things. Alot of theory here. In reality, we got to abide laws, in a way we always avoid breaking the laws. In the realm of the spirit, there is also laws, demon must also abide the laws, they cannot break it because God is the judge.
Demons run errands for their big boss, the devil. Their objective is to ultimately claim your soul, by death or prevent anyway possible for you to redeem your soul. Naturally, they have desires too! They hunger for 2 things: Coupleate with humans, and possess or control humans. Please don't ask me details on those, it is really gruesome to reveal the details.
It is commonly believed that demons can immediately possess people like what you see in shows and movies. Let me say that this is false, in order for a demon to have a hold or possess a person, the demon must have legal rights or legal ground to invade a human. Unless the demon has legal rights to hold/possess a human, a demon has no power over a human. Humans, their original intention is to have dominion, over living things and demons are subject to us. Yes, I do mean demons are suppose to be afraid of us. I'll not go into that...anyway some legal grounds include:
- acts of sin (lying included, white or black lies)
- dedication to demons/ idols
- Agreements to trade for power/gifts
- Sacrifices to demons/ idols to ask for blessings (maybe, I can't verify this)
- bitterness, unforgiveness, resentments
- Calling up spirits (I was into this b4...)

Basically, once a human commits any of the above. The demons has legal grounds to attack a human. And also, it is possible for multiple demons to stay in a human. Usually demonic presence is not obvious in a human, demons all the time conseal their presence to avoid detection and being cast out. Demons manifest(show themselves) when the host is weak emotionally, or lose control or as a result of prayer, Godly intervention. Some symtoms:

include speaking in japanese, or other languages even if the host has no knowledge of it
screaming (most of the time in another voice)
unusual strength(True story: 4 strong guys couldn't pin a guy down, in fact 1 of the was thrown off with only 1 hand!)
Weird or very very scary repeated dreams (usually inspire fear)
Host usually has weaker self-will, as his own self-will is influenced
Host may always have diffculty doing certain things, like showing love to parents, loved ones.

Ok, that's some good background about demons. Some demonic infleunced Powers may include:
- Ability to fly (True story: a witch was flying, she heard a christian praying, the flight was interrupted and she fell. She was very upset with the christian and demanded her to stop praying. The christian was my friend's friend. I dun remember the rest of the details)
- Quick access to wealth
- Quick access to positon of power or fame (think of idols, millionaires)
- Super natural strength (lift up unsuaully heavy objects)
- Power over animals (like python, snakes...etc...)
- Future visions (fortune tellers, now you see why they keep idols around)
- Cast spells / curses/ vodoos (No, I'm not joking.)

Please don't get too extreme, I did not mean all millionares and idols are doing the wrong things!
This is the shortcut to power and there is always a cost to this power. Sometimes contract of soul, blood, living sacrifices, expense of your life. Again, I say this is never a good thing. In some cases, some never really got out of it, because they are so bonded! In fact, in some of these organisations, it is nearly impossible to leave. If you think christians are bad, they are the worst! They bond you with everything possible, from threats to death.

---Godly empowered gifts (also known as gifts of the Holy Spirit)---
Ok Finally! Godly empowered gifts! These gifts are given by God, they are first asked, or laid hands upon by a christian then it's up to God's soverignty which gifts you have. Again, I say these are gifts, God being a good God will not ask for a return, even if the user abuse the gifts. Once it's given, it's given; that's why it is called a gift.
Take note that these gifts are usually not received immediately upon a person saying the sinner's prayer. The person needs to be baptised in the Holy Spirit(I don't mean water baptism), operate in the realm of the spirit by speaking in tongues. But there are cases where people can receive the gift, so it's really really up to God to decide, God moves the way He wants, it's not up to us to decide. Faith plays a big part over here. It is impossible to operate in such gifts without the Holy Spirit. Yes, I do mean you need the Holy Spirit to operate in spiritual gifts continuously!
Gifts of the Holy Spirit includes:
- Word of Wisdom
- Word of Knowledge
- Faith
- Gifts of healings
- Working of miracles
- Prophecy
- Discerning of spirits
- Different kind of tongues
- Intepretation of tongues

If I remember correctly it is like this:
Revelation Gifts - Gifts that gives you insight into the future
Word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith
Vocal Gifts - Gifts that gives you a vision/ glimpse of the future, Helps people connect to God.
Tongues, Intepretation of tongues, prophecy
Power Gifts - Miracle working giftings.
Gifts of healings, working of miracles

One may have more than 1 gift above, but no matter how spiritual one may be, no one can have all gifts. Reason is simple, God does not want us to be independent from one another, God want us to use spiritual gifts to help one another. So do not fully believe in doomsday prophet if there is no confirmation from other prophets. Those who do so will always end up disapppointed, in extreme cases, cheated.

Dejavu should be quite close to Vocal gifts, prophecy. comes in 2 ways:
close vision (that means you see, hear with eyes closed, usually dreams, or enter trance-like state)
Open vision (that means you see even with your eyes opened, such people usually space out)

What is the use of such a gift? I'll put it in church context, so it's easier to explain. Usually it is used to warn of coming danger for a church, or to encourage the church as a whole, like good news is coming soon. There are also cases, that it is to give the christian a glimpse of his/her future. to prepare what is coming ahead. Most cases I heard (which came true) is that they are called by God to serve in a certain area, such as pastor, evangelist, missionary, translator, teacher, etc.
God is also a God of order, God won't move in a way that it won't glorify Him. That also means, there is a time and place for everything! if you see anyone operate in such gifts in public, in the middle of nowhere like mrt, most probably that person is trying to get attention. Please don't blame the church, the church did not teach them that.
But I did know some true stories, that a pastor, church member operate in gift of healing (power gift) and heal their love ones or friends. That's not really a bad thing, so look at someone's intention, and ask "is that person trying to be funny and getting attention?"
That also includes, in the middle of a sermon, the person start to shout and scream, like doomsday is coming or something. Most probably again, that person is trying to get attention. Soon enough, the security will drag them out. Thank God for good security!

Oh, if you see those in public that goes "If you don't believe God, your gonna burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnnnn in heeeeellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll". God does not operate by threatening,so don't worry you won't offend God. Please send that person to hell. OH! I mean please send that person to the police.
